Welcome
Patricia's medium is acrylic and her painting style is realism. Her subject of choice is wildlife. She loves bringing depth and detail to her paintings, and enjoys the process of mixing colours from a very limited palette.
One of the strengths of wildlife art is its ability tell stories. In my paintings I try to bring out the individuality of each animal as it goes about its everyday life.
I portray many endangered animals, hoping that bringing them to life in my art will raise awareness of how close we are to losing them.

Participants will be shown how to render feathers and fur as well as smooth skin and how to capture the essence of each different animal.
